Kathleen Sutherland: Many congratulations to Ailsa on winning her first County Championship! There was a lot of great golf played today at Montrose, but a pity there were so few people there to appreciate it!

Aileen: Well done to Ailsa for a great win today. All of the girls put on a great exhibition of golf in difficult conditions. Great to watch!

Aileen: Risked my athletic flexibility and awesome golfing reputation then Fiona?

Jackie Brown: The sun always shines on the righteous Aileen! Maybe I'll get new shorts from Santa this year - if we are lucky maybe even "longer" ones!!

Aileen: Anyone else think it'll be warm and sunny on Sunday? I suspect Jackie may be wearing her shorts!!

Aileen: Thanks Dawn! Going by the amount of talent on display (young and not so young!!) our 4 counties are in a very healthy state, and that's what it's all about! Appreciate your support.

Dawn Butchart: I huge thank you to Aileen and all at Angus for a great event at Edzell today. The whole concept of the day is brilliant and it is great to see all counties getting together for the good of our juniors. Well done and look forward to next year!

Mary Summers: A great couple of weeks for Angus golf. Fabulous to see both the Wilson girls triumphing playing great golf. Thanks to Aileen for her comments on my golf - my scoring a good example of how little difference there is sometimes between a good and a bad score. Well done to everyone who palyed at Lossiemouth and let's try to get more of us purple jumpers to Southerness next year!

Fi Blair: Just to say i really enjoyed Sunday. It was great to see so many people taking part especially the amount of juniors that took part. Must give special credit to my partner Heather Munro, for such a small girl she fairly bats that ball around the course well

I think she would have done better without me!!

Mary Summers: We tried very hard in horrid conditions! Once again a very on the ball summary from Aileen! She was our 9th player - and seemed to be everywhere keeping us well informed and always encouraging. Well done Aileen!

Jen Petrie: Managed to find yesterday's jamboree results online - delighted to see Angus beat Northern Counties! Aberdeenshire beat P & K. Go Angus!!

Gillian Lockhart: Fab Website! I was just like to thank Aileen for a great time last week at the Scottish. Also for her tremendous talent of making people laugh - I wouldn't have the confidence to joint host the party without her - she is a star! AGM & Prizewinners 2009

Our AGM was held on Monday night at Panmure Barry, where we also held the presentation of prizes. Retiring President, Nancy Duncan was recognised with Honorary Membership of the county.
